The Interactive Advertising Bureau, an association that represents digital marketing in Spain, has estimated the investment in Internet Display for the first Trimester of 2011 on 90 million Euro.
According to the figures of real investment in Internet Display for the first trimester of 2010 (79.2 million Euro; source Study on Digital Media Investment IAB Spain- PwC 2010), the 90 million Euro turnover from January, February and March 2011 would mean a 13.6% raise compared to the previous year.
IAB Spain will estimate the Internet Display the first and third trimester of the year, as agreed with its associates. This estimation, based on the concentration levels of the investment during the previous year among the main ten publishers in the sector (see footnote) will not necessarily coincide with the real declarative data for the same period published afterwards in “Study on Digital Media Investment IAB Spain- PwC”. The report corresponding to the first semester of 2011 will be published in October.
Since March 2011, Roberto Campo, General Director for Yahoo! Spain and member of the Executive Board in IAB Spain, is the new supervisor for the investment Study.
